Exhibition Launch and performance Saturday 26 November 4-8pm

Tom Gilhespy performs the Cain Valley Kettle Choir in the parkland adjacent to the Gallery, 4-5pm. Exhibition opening 5-8pm with discussion and presentations by the artists. Danish food and drink!

As a result of the Interventions Wales exchange with Denmark in 2009 Klavs Weiss and Karen Havskov Jensen from et4u Contemporary Visual Art Projects in West Jutland invited sculptor Tom Gilhespy, video artist Ruth Carter and technical consultant Ian Garland to create two live performances of The Cain Valley Kettle Choir installation at the Kultucentret Tuskaer and Kunst Pakhuset Ikast in West Jutland.

Tom will perform this amazing visual and sound installation again as a celebration of the opening of A place in the countryy, Six artists from Denmark which is showing in the main galleries
