Design and construct fantastical communication sculptures out of everyday kitchen objects and the contents of the Kitchen bin. Explore how your contraption works, what powers it has and submit it to the catalogue of new inventions.

Create you very own veggie monster and find a place for it in The Kitchen’s ghoulish and ghastly Halloween landscape.
Fun and Games in The Kitchen

A morning of food themed games and activities in The Kitchen, from play dough spaghetti and grocery store bingo to tin-can bowling.
Participants are welcome to bring in their favorite board and card games to play with others.

Thursday 02 November | 10.30am – 12.30pm | Suitable for ages* 5+ | FREE Drop-in
Abandon conventional mealtime rules to create a plate of your favourite food – strawberries with sausages, cake with cheese or spaghetti and marshmallows. This workshop will offer participants a colourful and playful introduction to relief printing.
No-Sewing Recipe | Sufea Mohamad Noor
Friday 03 November | 10.30am – 12.30pm | Suitable for ages* 5+ | FREE Drop-in
Follow a recipe of editing and customising instructions to create bags and baskets using scrap fabrics. Participants will take inspiration from Artist, Sufea Mohamad Noor’s growing archive of no-sewing recipes.
